If shipping overseas, please contact us as the details may differ from those below.


Regarding delivery

Depending on the size of the product and the shipping area, we will deliver it using one of the following shipping companies.


Delivery and assembly

Delivery will be at the front door

If you live in an apartment, please make sure to check the access route (e.g. elevators, stairs, etc.)

For large furniture, etc., if the driver comes alone, we may ask the customer to help.

Please assemble, unpack and install the product yourself.

If you order multiple items, they may be delivered separately.

Additional delivery services

In addition to standard shipping, you can choose from the following additional shipping services (for a fee) depending on the product.

Flat rate: 660 yen/1 piece

2) Cabinets (large furniture)
Flat rate: ¥5,500/each

Please contact us for details regarding Hokkaido, Okinawa, remote islands, and large items.

Delivery date and time specification

If in stock, it will be shipped within 3 business days

In the case of "out of stock", the item will be shipped within 10 business days after the order is placed. However, this may change depending on the lumber procurement situation, etc.

In the case of "made-to-order" products, in principle, the product will be shipped within 3 weeks after the order is placed. However, this may change depending on the availability of lumber, etc. We will contact you again to inform you of the shipping date.

For large orders, please contact us as we will make the product to order.

Please check below to specify the delivery time.

Delivery time can be specified from [morning], [afternoon] or [night (after 6:00 p.m.)] (excluding products that cannot specify a date and time)

Please note that delivery dates and times may be delayed due to unexpected factors such as "peak season congestion," "bad weather/natural disasters," "traffic conditions," and other factors that occur during product delivery.

[Convenience store payment] (prepayment)

At nukumori, we use a paperless system (payment number system) that eliminates the need to print or send payment slips.
With the paperless method, you will be notified of the number required for payment at the convenience store. You can then complete the payment by either telling the number to the convenience store clerk or printing out an application ticket at the store's terminal. Any fees will be borne by the customer. Please refer to the links for each convenience store for details on how to make a payment at a convenience store.

Payment period and deadline

・Credit card: At the time of payment (varies depending on the credit card company)

Please note that even if the item is in stock when you place your order, it may not be available depending on the timing of your payment.

  • Credit card payment: Stock will be secured after confirming whether or not the card can be used.

  • Deferred payment: Stock will be secured after passing a credit check (the check may take some time).

  • Convenience store payment (prepayment): Stock will be secured after payment is received

  • Bank transfer/Postal transfer: Stock will be secured after payment is received.

About pre-order items

・Pre-order items: Delivery process

As soon as your reserved item is ready, we will send you an email to inform you of the delivery date.

We will arrange the delivery date as soon as possible. If it is difficult to receive the item, we can change the delivery date, so please reply.

*There are some products for which it is not possible to specify the delivery date and time. *For pre-order items, the procedure will be carried out after production, so we cannot specify the delivery date at the time of purchase.

*Please note that there may be a significant delay in the delivery of pre-ordered items.

*In rare cases, products may be available earlier.

If the delivery date is earlier, we will inform you by email. If you have any requests, please contact us at that time to discuss the delivery date.

About product returns

If you receive a defective product, a product that is damaged upon arrival, or a product that is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product and we will accept returns or exchanges.

Returns due to personal reasons, differences in expectations, etc. will be accepted in the following cases:

  • Products delivered within 8 days

  • Products that have never been used

  • Products that have never been assembled

  • Products that are not damaged and can be resold

  • Items that can be returned in the original packaging to prevent damage

*Sale items and custom-made items are not eligible for return even if they fall under the above categories.

Regarding fees if you are required to pay

If you wish to return the product for your own reasons, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Return shipping cost for the product (We will provide you with an estimate after receiving your request for return)

  • 20% of the product price (inspection fee, repackaging fee, miscellaneous expenses)

  • Payment fees (card fees, deferred payment fees, transfer fees)

How to get a refund

In the case of credit cards: The amount minus the amount you have paid will be refunded by changing the amount of your card payment. Depending on the closing date of the card company, after you have been billed, the card company may refund or offset the amount the following month.

In the case of convenience store post-payment settlement: The amount minus the amount you have to pay will be refunded by bank transfer.

In the case of prepayment at convenience stores: The amount minus the amount you have to pay will be refunded by bank transfer.

In the case of bank transfer payment: The amount minus the amount you are responsible for will be refunded via bank transfer.

Important Notice

If you return the product by cash on delivery without contacting us, we will not be able to accept it. The shipping company will charge you the shipping fee.

There is no legal provision for a cooling-off period for mail order sales, so cancellation by cooling-off period is not possible.

Please note that returns due to differences in color between the product and the screen are at the customer's discretion.

Because this is a natural material produced in Kyoto Prefecture, there will be individual differences in the grain, knots, tiger stripes, streaks, color, etc. We hope you will enjoy these unique characteristics of natural materials. Cancellations or exchanges cannot be accepted for this reason.
